Community spirit through the ‘power of song’

The third annual Sydney Street Choir Corporate Challenge proved an outstanding success, raising the biggest total to date.

Eight Corporate Choirs joined the Sydney Street Choir, lighting up a busy Martin Place on a fabulous Spring afternoon.

The Choirs included: AMP, APA, Colin Biggers & Paisley, Macquarie Group, Minter Ellison, PAYCE, Price Waterhouse Coopers and TOGA.

The annual initiative of the PAYCE Foundation was first held in 2017 with the aim to raise much-needed funds to resource support services for choir members. Last year, funds raised helped engage a case worker to mentor choir members.

A combined tally of forty-thousand dollars has been raised with the number expected to grow in the coming weeks.
